ADAM LERMAN is an actor living and working in New York City, just like everyone else. Working in various mediums across the city, he has and can be seen in all over the scene: downtown, uptown, out-of-town, and perhaps in your very own town very soon!
WHAT DOES HE DO?
- He is an actor.
- He is a founding member of the nearing-renowned theater company The Paper Industry .
- He also works as a playwright, director and sound designer.

Recent performances include:
- Commercials on Comedy Central for Alltel Wireless and Domino’s Pizza.
- Remounting of and performance in wonderfully packed-house showing of Sine Wave Goodbye in the 2008 NYC Prelude Festival.
- Acting Apprenticeship at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
- Suzan-Lori Parks’ 365 Days/365 Plays at the Public Theater.
- Various roles in Annie Ward’s The Best Party Ever (Richmond Shephard Theatre).
- “Sweat Butter” in Jamie Peterson’s Sine Wave Goodbye (Ontological Theatre) as part of the Ontological’s Short Form Development Series.
- A man mysteriously named “ADAM” in The Paper Industry’s Hot Dog Ballet as part of Yehuda Duenyas’ One Million Forgotten Moments sponsored by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
- He is a member of the record-breaking, death-defying, and ghost-loving improv trio DeathCake, with Dan Hartley and Ian Harding. However, they were a one-off company performing one-night-only, and will probably never appear together as DeathCake again. So ask about it, but don’t expect it.

WHERE DOES HE COME FROM?
- Adam was born in Pleasantville, NY. It is a real town.
- Adam is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Skidmore College.
- Adam has studied extensively with the SITI Company, as well as at the British American Drama Academy, and with Ted Sluberski.
- His summer of 2008 consisted of working as an Acting Apprentice at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. He spent time under the Improv tutelage of such Upright Citizens Brigade Theater greats as Ryan Karels, Neil Casey and Joe Wengert.
