Prelude Festival

The Paper Industry will be featured in the 2008 Prelude Festival! We will be performing on September 26th, at the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center at CUNY (some details below, more details to come). We will be workshopping the next step of our new play, “Sine Wave Goodbye” by Jamie Peterson, and are honored to be in the company of so many of New York’s finest (artists, not cops or firemen, though they are great too). PRELUDE ‘08 features work-in-progress performances, readings and open rehearsals from some of NYC’s most influential emerging and established theatre artists. A four-day celebration and preview of the upcoming season, PRELUDE ’08 gives audiences the rare chance to see the NYC’s most distinctive contemporary theatre-makers at work. Panel discussion and other special events provide opportunities to meet the artists and discuss the shows you’ll see onstage in the months to come.

PLUS SPOTLIGHT POLAND: Four of the most exciting contemporary Polish playwrights in translation and staged by New York-based directors. Presented in partnership with the Polish Cultural Institute. SATURDAY, SEPT. 27.
